About Hibachi
Strategy first. Smarter operations follow.
We help marketing and sales teams align strategy, systems, and people… then build what works.
Why Hibachi exists
Technology should support the strategy, not dictate it.
Too many organizations invest in technology before fully understanding the problem they need to solve. The result is often more confusion, disconnected systems, unreliable data, and processes that teams struggle to maintain.
Hibachi was built to offer a more practical approach. We begin with understanding business goals, constraints, people, and processes. Then we design and implement solutions that create meaningful value without adding unnecessary complexity.
Founder story
Experienced guidance. A genuinely collaborative approach.
Hibachi Technologies was founded by Daniel Umbro to bring strategic and technical expertise closer to the organizations that need it.
Dan’s work sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, operations, and technology. He has helped teams improve how they use Salesforce, HubSpot, marketing automation, data, reporting, and connected systems… always with an emphasis on making the work understandable and sustainable.
Beyond client engagements, Dan contributes to the Salesforce community as a speaker, educator, community group leader, and Salesforce Marketing Champion. That same commitment to teaching carries into every Hibachi engagement.

What clients can expect
Consulting should build capability, not dependency.
Understand before recommending
We listen carefully, validate assumptions, and understand the business context before proposing a solution.
Practical over perfect
Recommendations account for value, effort, cost, maintainability, and the organization’s readiness.
Work as part of the team
We collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT, and Salesforce stakeholders instead of working in isolation.
Make the work sustainable
Documentation, training, knowledge transfer, and clear ownership are part of delivery, not afterthoughts.
Start the conversation
Let’s talk about what is getting in the way.
Whether the challenge involves strategy, systems, data, process, or team ownership, we can help identify the problem and determine a work together towards a logical next step.
